This is what Japanese people do in their free time.. xD





The singing is provided by a voice synthesizer from the program Vocaloid 2. So all you have to do is type the words into your computer, compose a melody, and the program will sing it back for you. It's quite a breakthrough, I have to say. The girl with the green ponytails is the most famous Vocaloid character, and is called Hatsune Miku, debuting back in 2007. Her voice is tailored for J-pop songs, so now we don't have to put up with brainless, real-life wannabes. There's even a whole album made by a Japanese duo called Livetune, by the name of Re:Package.

You can even make your own dance sequence for Hatsune Miku in a program called Miku Miku Dance, as can be seen from the fourth video I posted above. That's some insane stuff.. xD
